FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
‘Gun Law 2024: Cases, Strategies, Challenges, and Trends,’ presented by the American Council of Second Amendment Lawyers, is our sixth annual CLE, which aims to provide attorneys with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving legal landscape surrounding firearms in the United States. The course comprises four sessions, each addressing critical aspects of gun law practice, including recent Supreme Court decisions, strategic case management, racial biases in gun rights, and the interplay between state and federal regulations.
The overall objective of the program is to equip legal professionals with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to navigate complex firearm-related cases. Through an analysis of major court rulings, tactical pre- and post-filing strategies, and an exploration of diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, participants will learn how to effectively advocate for clients while considering both constitutional rights and ethical implications. The program also focuses on the challenges posed by conflicting state and federal laws, providing guidance on effective negotiation, defense, and prosecution strategies under varying legal frameworks.
